Great honest French-style comfort food. Good produce, reasonable prices, and very professional staff. You will only see locals eating here. And this in France is testament to some good cuisine. Hats off to the type of business that I miss when I visit some other countries for work.
Good food and friendly service. Large floor space so easy to get a quiet corner. Exterior tatty but much nicer inside so don't judge it too soon! Check your bill carefully though, we were charged for 3 three course meals when we had 1 three and 2 two course meals. Recently, my daughter visited with a friend and they had special dietary requirements. The staff went out of their way to accommodate these, which was much appreciated.
This is a fabulous restaurant. A true example of the best of French cooking with no frills.
We had a very nice and tasty 3 course dinner for a good price (€25,-). Wine was a bit overpriced (nearly€20,-) as well as the armagnac (€6,-/glass)
